Description
This Orca prototype features our Brilliant chamber, and has a complex tone with much added brightness. Players who prefer a moderate tip opening will enjoy the extra projection our design makes possible. This piece has our Standard tuning intended for modern Selmer-based designs, but understand that acoustic match varies widely from player to player. It features a responsive .107 facing by Norbert Stachel and white rhodium plating by Matt Marantz. The tip is profiled for Rigotti reeds, and should work well with similarly wide reed profiles. Ligature and cap included.
